I have narrow feet/high arches and have always struggled to find a good comfortable walking shoe. This is it and I can put them on without having to break them in before I take a long walk but I wear them as my daily standard. I do trade out the insoles for a hiking shoe insert but this is my 6th pair over 6-7 years. The outer shell stays really nice but the bottom soles do compress over time, about a year to 18 months of continual daily wear/heavy use - including a routine of a 3.5 mile trail walk 5 days a week.
